ROC Filing Notes
- MCA rarely objects to consulting objects, but avoid promising ‘investment advice’ — that phrase triggers SEBI scrutiny. Say ‘business advisory’ instead.
- If the company will assist with secretarial audits, remember only a practising Company Secretary can sign those reports — the company can facilitate, not sign.
- Keep the objects broad enough to cover future service lines; amending the MOA later needs a shareholder resolution and fresh filing.
