Related Licences & Registrations
- CBFC certification: needed per film for theatrical release — not per company.
- Shooting permissions: from local authorities, and from ASI for heritage locations.
- Copyright registration: optional but useful for protecting original works.
ROC Filing Notes
- The IP ownership clause (‘acquire, own, license copyrights’) is important — production companies live on their content libraries. Do not skip it.
- ‘Film producer’ is accepted MOA language; CBFC certification happens per film, not per company.
- If the company will also distribute films theatrically, add a distribution clause — production and distribution are distinct objects.
